Remove Nail Polish Stains?

Hey... my friend was putting on some nail polish and it fell on the floor. As it was falling some drops fell on my "mercerized cotton" dress shirt. (Specifically on the sleeve). We spent 10 minutes trying to remove it with nail polish remover but no luck. So I was wondering if anyone knew a way to remove the stains. Thanks

Reply:I hate to say this, but youre kinda out of luck if the nail polish remover didn't work. Did you try soaking it in it? You could try pain-stripper that that will probably eat through the clothes.

Reply:yeah nail polish remover only works if it's on yur nails


not on the dress





get a stain remover and soak it in baking soda and bleach, soak it for 12 hours then waash it

Reply:i'm sorry but you can't .. i got it on my sweater and pj pants and can't seem to get it off , after like 10 times washing it ..
Reply:my friend got this blue nail polish on my white bag and i still cant get it out and that was about2 years ago
