Reversal in Polish migration coming soon?

According to this the flow of migrants from Poland and other Eastern European countries may reverse if their economies continue to grow.

Basically the wages they would earn in Britain aren't as good anymore due to wage inflation back in Poland and in appreciation of the Polish currency. In effect their UK wage would have fallen by a quarter.

So what will all those moaning minnies do now the hard working Poles they love have gone home and they are left with their fellow scum countrymen they turned their backs on? Hmm. As an aside when Poland entered the EU in 2004 the UK wage was 5X the Polish one, no wonder they were hard working. Imagine earning 20k and then moving somewhere to earn 100k for doing the exact same job, I would be hard working too!

Reversal in Polish migration coming soon?
I heard that afew days ago because the Polish economy is on the up so a lot are heading home
Reply:I`ve experienced what you are preaching don`t take it lightly because when the pols are gone the employers here will want the english to work like dogs for the same as they payed the pols. immigration has done this country no good.
Reply:With European Union membership it's bound to happen eventually, with the amount of investment going into eastern Europe as a result, and European companies finding it more attractive because of it, wages are going to rise there no doubt about it.

See you didn't need all that Daily Mail screaming did you?
Reply:they have ALSO realised , what your average UK resident has known for years or what has become evident since nu-labour came to power.

we are RIP-OFF britain, AGAIN.

most east-europeans are off with their

( made ) money, any benefits they were entitled to,

( some claiming more than once! ) %26amp; of course taken advantage of the free health care on offer, going back home, as the cost of living here is so high.

food, fuel, consumables all cost a fortune,

add rising utility bills %26amp; ( now ) alcohol is going up ( at last..... to stem a rising binge-drinking culture )

they've made money %26amp; gone home.

wish I could go HOME.

this is my home BUT i don't recognise it.

it's changed %26amp; become the laughing-stock of the world.

from how we treat " visitors ", terrorists, criminals......

etc etc.to our weak %26amp; wussy government.
Reply:maybe our uni and college students can get the jobs back that they used to do, like bar work and beach jobs etc. and maybe our early retired people can get the part time jobs that used to be available to them. perhaps our school leavers will be able to go straight into work from school.
Reply:I have always said on here that the reason immigration has been encouraged is to create a surplus of labour which helps to drive down wages. In the long term this will de-skill and de-motivate the indigenous workforce. When the Poles do return UK employers wll be letf high and dry.

Another reason Poles are moving back is that the money they earn here is eaten up by accomodation and living costs. Many find that to send money home they have to live like dogs, which in many respects they are as intercontinental scavengers.
Reply:What? the British are migrating to Poland? oh well... at least Pols aren't so rotten.
Reply:I have known Polish families around the York area for over 50 years. The parents came here to fight with us during the war and eventually either brought over their Polish girls or married local girls. I cannot ever remember any of the families being in trouble with the Police, they were and their children and grandchildren still are nice, hard-working people. They are all Catholic and regularly attend church. However, within the last three years we have seen an influx of young Polish males in one small town south of York who regularly are in trouble with the law for theft, driving offences and criminal damage. Not much different to some of our home-grown thugs! The Poles who came here three years ago were on wages of around £300 per month which is a lot over there and have been able to send more than that back in child allowance if they had three children still in Poland, which has been paid out of our taxes.
