Did anyone see the new Polish Pub on TV that's just opened up in Reading?

Looks like Reading has it's first pub for the Polish community.


The Polish owners said they want English people to go in as well with their Polish friends.


I wonder how many will ?

Nice to see they are integrating so well into our community ! What next, a nice little Polish ghetto ? that would fit so well next to the Pakistani, Indian, Somali, Bangladeshi, and West Indian ones ! isn't multi-culturalism great !
Reply:Hopefully, it can only be helpful, until some English drunk, starts complaining about the amount of English jobs going to Polish community, and where the housing stock is going? when a Brit can't get a council house from the local authority for love nor money, I am not trying to be negative, but I can see it all ending in tears. I hope I'm wrong.

Reply:Probably not many english will go in, but good on the Poles. We brits move to spain and open hundreds of crappy bars selling carling and all day breakfasts.

Reply:just a response to anthony. the truth is that they now have 52% of our new jobs and i know that ppl say that ppl from over here are to lazy to work but there are more ppl who are willing to work than sit on the dole so that is one minor point. also where i live it is incredibly hard to get housed because so many polish are homless. this is comming from a working no drunkin brit. its good that they have there own pub where they can mix more with their own ppl and not feel as alienated but now there is so many polish in the country it is becoming more of a way of life so i would say that there will be plenty of brits drinking there in good course
