No nail polish remover..PLEASE HELP?
okay this happened to me before.

what you do is put a coat of CLEAR nail polish on your nails and then with a rag, applying some pressure wipe off the remains of the nail polish. it make take a few times but its better than nothing.

after that you can use a buffer to smooth everything out and it will remove the last of the remaining nail polish.

if there are like "chunks" of nail polish left on your nails, use a nail file ONLY on the chunk or whatever. you can also try soaking your nails in warm water and soap.

this isnt as fast as using nail polish remover but its better than nothing.
Reply:I don't really think you can get it off without nail varnish remover. Maybe run down to a shop and get some?

Or, you could try and pick it off. I pick mine off, although its bad for your nails because you remove a protective layer. But its not the end of the world. Maybe pick it off and then buff your nails till they shine with a buffer and then paint over them?

Sorry i'm not much help!!
Reply:Have you tried asking your parents to get some for you.
Reply:hmmm can't you go buy so from like the $ store or something? if not take a hot shower the nail polish softens and it is easier to get off if you scratch it or i think if you like paint over it with nail polish and then scrap it off while the polish is still wet and i think it takes off both of the polishes..try it i pretty sure it works
Reply:soak your hands in warm water then try to chip off.

also just plain rubbing alcohol should work also if you have that.
Reply:Picking it off is not good for your nails. It totally ruins the surface and can leave you with awful ridges that look like crap when painted.

Here's the secret: Get a clear nail polish and lightly paint it over the color you need to remove. Quickly, before the clear coat dries, wipe it off with a cottonball. (You should wipe toward the tip of your nail.) The color and the clear top coat should come off easily.
Reply:I just use a small knife and chip it off. :-)
Reply:Soaking your nails and chipping off the paint would be the best bet.

Regular rubbing alcohol will not work, I've tried it. It just dries out your finger/nails.

Good luck and I wish you the best. I hate running out of nail polish remover.
