I hate pink and my favorite color is black so I wanna wear black finger nail polish but my friends say its a bad example for girls to wear black finger nail polish is that true

black finger nail polish is awesome. Pink is so cliche now anyway. I don't like the way your friends think. Get new ones if you really want to start your new goth life.

Reply:I love wearing black. But my boyfriend hates it, WHO CARES! You do what you want. I dont think it looks gothic anymore- It can totally look hot if dressed up with a cute outfit and non/gothic looking making up, exc. Go for it!

Reply:Do what you want. Black nail polish is very punky, skater, goth, emo, or whatever you want it to be. I personally don't like black nail polish, but I do like super dark plum or red polish, which is very sexy. But remember... it's about what you want, not your friends.

Reply:I wouldnt say so! I like wearing black too but I dont wear it alot. I cant tell you the last time I wore it. But I think that wearing black nail polish is starting to be a fashion. You see a few celebs wearing it, and some people you see everyday. They dont have to be punk or goth to wear it, I dont think. I dont know why it would be a bad example for girls.

Reply:Black fingernail polish USED to be a statement of being punk or gothic, but now it's more of a fashion statement. Huge superstars such as lindsay lohan and Nichole Richie and Eva Mendes are wearing black. So it has more of sheek look now more than it ever has so I would say it is A-ok to wear black, especially if you don't like pink :)

Reply:I dont like it. It gives you an emo, gothic type look. I just love it when my gf where's red or pink polish. She looks so hot. Also it depends on your style. Like my gf is a blonde and she looks really good in it. It just depends.
