Black nail polish?? (guys answer)?

how come some guys dont like it when girls wear black nail polish i always wear black nail polish %26amp;%26amp; some guy dont like it... why is that???

I'm not a guy, but I'll answer anyway...


Those guys sound like idiots. What does it matter if you have black nail polish on? It's nail polish! I don't see anything wrong with wearing it, I think it's awesome.


Then again, some guys probably think of you not being "feminine" and they think of it as being mosher/gothic/crazy/freakish.


Which is a stupid reason, but that's what my "friend" thinks, and he's a guy. So, maybe that's why?


I don't care what people think of my black nails...I love it, and that's all that matters!

Reply:Its not, feminine, imo. Unless you wear it with the whole goth look. Which I kinda like. Heck, you see goth guys wearing black polish all the time. So it kinda makes it "unsexy".
Reply:Thats not true..black nail polish is a HUGE trend on the fashion runways right now and all the celebrities are wearing it, including girly blondes like Paris Hilton! Chanel makes a great black satin nail polish.

Reply:Well, on a girl, black can look like a 'down' or depressed color when there are so many other bright colors that look absolutely great on women!


If you take your time to do it right (nicely shaped nails and a glossy finish), then black can look very sexy.





I think it's when it's just sloshed on that it looks bad (actually, that's true with any color...).





And, black looks good on guy's toes too!
Reply:it looks goth and a bit disturbing..it just makes you look like you are not interested in guys and love so guys don't really think you like them and it does not look good on nails either. It looks too weird because the color of some people's skin make it look very gross and odd. When you wear black it is okay. It looks standard and clean but on nails it sometimes makes you look emo.
