Polish Lancers VS Unicorns- who wins?

Fantasy face off II, round 7- a squad of Polish lancers meet a herd of buck unicorns in pitched battle- who wins, and why?

Polish Lancers VS Unicorns- who wins?
Lancers all the way. The unicorn attacks with a spearing charge using its magical horn, which is usually near unbreakable, but only has a reach of two feet at the most. The lancers are mounted, also use a charge attack, and have a reach of nine to twelve feet. The unicorns cannot even get close, and all fall on the initial charge as they literally impale themselves on the lancers' pikes. Next!:)

The reasons why are numerous. After the dinosaurs, many different types of mammals evolved, there were many species of single horned mammals; however, they weren't nearly as succesful as dual horned mammals and as a result died out. If you think about it from a practical point of view, if a unicorn was to 'stick' something with it's horn then there'd be a good chance of it either snapping or the unicorn would just become stuck and vunerable to attacks from the rear and side. A two horned animal wouls have a better chance breaking free as it could use it's other horn/tusk as leverage. In fact the dual design has been very succesful throughout nature - hence we have two arms and two legs.





A rhino is indeed the odd one out being succesful enough - until we nearly hunted it into extinction; however the rhino has made up for it's one horn by being layered in tonns of thick hide.





This is how it would go:





- The unicorns seduce a group of Polish....maidens fair, angering the local... lancers





- The Polish lancers decide they want to be the one's doing the lancing and decend upon the unicorns.





- The unicorns are startled by the intrusion of the lancers and start to sing "My Little Pony" .





- The Lancers charge, some unicorns charge them in return, but their horns snap on the Lancers shields (to Lord-Bearclaw - I don't know if Polish Lancers have shields - but these one's do - they are magical Unicorn repelling shields).





- The Lancers kebab the unicorns, breaking the young maidens hearts, then they drink the dying Unicorns' blood (they read Harry Potter) and become 'The Mega Un-dead Polish Power Lancing Rangers'.

Reply:the polished lancers.it will blind the poor unicorns,and they will fall on the polished lances, or get bucked now that will be sore for the unicorn and will be the end of the line for the unicorn. ah ha thats why the Unicorns faded out, too many polished lances, the end in round seven.
