Red nail polish on hardwood floors HELP!!?

My son got ahold of my red nail polish (opening it up for my daughter) and dribbled a little bit on our hardwood floors. Is there anything I can do to remove it before hubby sees?! We have only had our floors for less than a year. I almost started to use nail polish remover and it said harmful to wood floors! HELP!

A Magic Eraser. My friend has little ones too and their daughter took a Sharpie Marker to their wood coffee table and it got it out. Should work on the nail polish remover.

Another is Goo Off - you can find this at Lowe's, Home-depot, Walmart, Target, etc. It gets out almost everything, including oil based paint.
Reply:Scrape it, then treat the dribbled spots with wood floor products.
Reply:First wash floor with dish soap in a bucket of water. If that don't get it up try Bruce's floor cleaner.
