My daughter spilled nail polish on our wood floor. How do I remove it without damaging the floor? It is also on the toilet bowl in the bathroom..lol. Yes I threw the polish away.

you should be able to scrape it off your toilet and polish remover wont hurt the porcelain, You should have got it off your wood floor with mineral spirits when it was still wet, it wont work if the polish is dry. I would try polish remover but do it slowly and try to keep it on the polish. You might have to sand it off and re finish the spot. It should only cost about $10 bucks for a small thing of floor sealer.
