Toenail Polish Situation.?

After I have had toenail polish on for a few weeks and take it off, my toenails have a yellowish tint to them that won't come off... ewww....

It looks ugly. Does anyone know how to go about getting this off my toes?? I don't want to have to keep them polished ALL the time...

Toenail Polish Situation.?
Unfortunately the nail polish stained your nails. That happened to me this spring on my hands. (base coat didn't work) Anyway I buffed them, %26amp; soaked them in bleach but it didn't really do anything. You are just going to have to wait a few months and let them grow out. I'm going to guess it is cold where you are now, so just keep your feet in your socks and no one will notice.
Reply:Go to a beauty supply or pharmacy and buy a three sided or 4 sided buffer. They work wonders. I do my toes once a week and also my hands. It takes off all the yellow or reddish, if you wear red, and then you buff them to a shine and put clear on. It works.
Reply:The yellow will fade in time....next time you put polish on use a clear basecoat first before applying the colour. It protects your nail from being stained from the nail colour.
Reply:it's because your base coat wasn't doing it's job... or you didn't use one. Go to Walgreens and pick up a cheap nail 3-way buffer. Go by the steps, and it'l be gone in no time, it's just topical.
Reply:The yellow will fade in time, use cotton balls and tea trea oil on the nails for a few weeks. Next time you polish use a base coat and the dye wont seep in to the nail bed.
Reply:That is from the tint staining the nail. It will fade - but to prevent this in the future - always use a clear base coat to protect the nail.
