Fingernail Polish?

I had a bone head moment and knocked a bottle of fingernail polish on my carpet. It is bright red. Any ideas on how I can get it out cause fingernail polish remover is not working. Thanks for the ideas.

Fingernail Polish?
Try looking at ehow. There are directions there. Good luck.
Reply:A professional cleaner should be able to help you, using a dry solvent and then flushing with water. Afterwards it should all be extracted.
Reply:The same thing happened to me. I'm not sure how you're using the polish remover, but I used it and it worked great, but you have to use alot of it. I basically soaked the area with remover, then put some on a rag and laid the rag on top of the stain. Wait a few moments then come back and scrub it. then come back with a warm damp cloth and scrub it some more. keep alternating with the remover and the damp cloth until the stain is gone.
Reply:Unfortunatley, there is no other way..... If it is still fresh, try using water and some bleach or something.....
