Nail Polish?

Every time I put nail polish on, the next day it comes off. I have very strong and healthy nails so they don't chip or break but I just can't seem to keep the color on. Any advice?





Could it be the nail polish that I'm using? I have a lot of different bottles and prices range from a 1 dollar to 15 dollars each.

Make sure it's FULLY dry, then try a second coating, and then put a clear cot on the top.

Reply:have it dry completly like dont use your hands for 15 mintures then put another coat of paint on
Reply:you need to start with a base coat, apply two layers of color, and finish with a top coat. and cheaper polishes do tend to chip easier.
Reply:coat it over with a clear polish, and try puttin on a clear polish before the color, make sure it isnt cheap though. i like the este lauder brand
Reply:that happens a week after i paint my nails. you first apply a base coat, then let it dry for 10 minutes. next apply the nail polish color that you want, then let it dry for 20 minutes. then apply it again, and let it dry for 10 minutes, and finally apply a top coat and let it dry for 10 minutes more. do this in the morning after you take a shower (so it can dry more throughout the day) because if you do it at nighttime, before you take another shower (and before you sleep), the nail polish can easily come off. Reply:the same happend to me. once the color is dry, put a clear coat over top, it will stay on for like a week.
Reply:A second coating would help, try buying nail glaze, it gives it a shiny look, and it is supposed to keep nail polish on longer.
Reply:1) wipe nails w/ vinegar to remove all oils


2) apply base coat, let dry for 5 mins


3) apply color, let dry 5 mins


4) apply 2nd coat of color


5) apply a top coat of Seche Vite or Poshe IMMEDIATELY so that it will bond w/ nail color to dry


6) apply top coat every other day.





Keep nails dry as much as you can.
Reply:do not go to sleep right after you polish your nailes couse it will chip off and then you will have to polish them all over.

Ok, if you have any clear Nail Polish put it on till' it drys, (Clear Nail Polish should dry fast) once the clear Nail Polish has dryed, use any other color, it works!

Reply:that's weird!! my nail polish doesn't come off for anything except for if i chip it or it rub it off with nail polish remover. it might be the nail polish your using!
Reply:Make sure the nail polish officially dries. Then Maybe try a second coating?
