Using nail polish to draw pictures on skin.?

So, recently I've been drawing this cute little heart on my left wrist with pen, marker e.t.c. But they always wash off so quickly.

So I tried drawing it with nail-polish. The nail-polish is the perfect colour and It stays on well. Is there anything wrong with this? Like, being dangerous for my health etc?

Using nail polish to draw pictures on skin.?
Nail polish IS a dangerous and toxic chemical. It's the same with Sharpies and permanent markers. Unless you would like to get ink and even leadpoisoning, I would stop with the nail polish. Ink pens are less likely to give any problems.
Reply:no its fine
Reply:you shouldnt draw on your skin at all especially wit toxic nailpolish. its so dangerous
Reply:Never, never, never use nail polish on your skin, especially for recreation like your doing. Sometimes my nail polish stains my nails (HARD to get it off might i add) and if it can do that imagine what it could do to your skin!!! If your gonna do that...get a tattoo. ;-)

Sincerly, Candiecane
Reply:if its non toxic it should be perfectly fine.
Reply:Nope its totally fine. Don't use sharpie's if you keep doing this cuz this one girl in my school used to draw stuff on her wrists all the time with sharpies until one day her veins started turning black (no lie). It was really gross. Nail polish should be fine tho except I'm surprised it doesn't itch when it starts to peel off..
