Hi...do Polish guys make good friends? are they genuinely honest people??

There are a few Polish people working where I work in, they work hard. There is one who is extremely good looking, he is nice enough and is very very polite, though I often wonder if he is, like, too polite, some people are toooooo polite tha gives them a subtle falseness....he is nice to me though I wonder if I cramp his style..or is he genuine.thats why I asked if Polish guys make good mates?

You can't generalise. There are nice honest people in every society, but there's also people who are the opposite. Get to know this guy better, see which he is.
Reply:the polish guys i know are a bit rude and just...simple, i mean the ones who come to live in the uk are usually quite poor so they are kind of low class and the way they grew up was walking around the streets all day, and having fmailies who never stop swearing and just keep drinking a couple of vodka shots every night, and im not just making this up, i know what its like, im bulgarian, i lived around ppl like them, i never want to see them again, they were just so rude to me!


but it depends, if this polish guy got his education here, and works where u work,not as a builder or some sort i think he is different, not like the sommon Polish guys!
Reply:I'm a Polish guy, and I reckon I'm quite a decent guy, but not every person from the same country is the same. There are Polish people who I wouldnt be friends with, just as there are people from any country that I wouldnt be friends with. Its possible that he is being so polite because he worries that if he is not like that people will start being rude and make racist assumptions about him like 'all polish people are....whatever' thats what the girl a bit above has done...generalised if a pole is not educated here, they are not a good person.....
Reply:From my understanding the poles work twice as hard at friendship for half the payment of an Englishman and can also do your plumbing and building work for a reduced cost............................... THEY ARE PEOPLE LIKE YOU SPEAK TO THEM AND SEE IF YOU LIKE THEM, i can pretty much guarantee that all polish people are not identical, some you will like, some you may not!!!!
Reply:REALLY? Come on, are we not all human. The only way to find the answer to this Q is by making a friendship with him and only time will tell, if we all knew this answer before actually making friends, maybe we would not make any at all?





What differentiates a good friend from a bad one anyway? Those whom have been friends for 30, 40 or 50 years, have all had their differences and that's what makes their friendships last so long- if we all gave up at the first hurdle these friendships would not be built to last now would they?





I know you probably don't want to hear this, but please try not to be so shallow.

Reply:Dude there are pigs in every forest, some Polish are cool, some are idiots. Same as everywhere else. Just don't try and beat any of them at drinking vodka, coz you WILL lose.

Reply:Might as well say that all poles are good friends, all russians are good cooks, all scots are funny and all germans are kind - accept that everyone is different regardless of age, nationality and colour.

Reply:Hey, if a person is Polish and a person is, say, Swedish, they are still the same person, so you can't just generalize too that all Polish people are hard workers.
