Black Nail Polish - HELP!!?
Maybe soak your skin in warm water for a while... and then try the nail polish remover again
Reply:Sometimes it still looks dark on your nails, but try your very hardest with acetone, cause that's the only thing that really works. Sometimes I find that after I shower, some of the nail polish I got on like my skin and hands and stuff, has washed away.
Reply:the nail polish remover SHOULD work~*

Perhaps calling the manufacturer -whoever made the nail polish and ask them how to get it off as nothings worked so far*

GOODLUCK*
Reply:Oh lol yeah I get that problem all the time unfortunately its scrubbing at it with nail polish remover which will smudge it ALL over your cuticles and round the corners so scrub until the nails clean. Then I used an acidic exfoliator dipped in nail polish remover on a nail brush to get it off the fingers. LOL I like black nail varnish waaay too much.
Reply:Acetone, or if you get desperate lighter fluid.
Reply:Try acetone. Thats what they use in the nail salons.
Reply:Use polish remover with acetone in it. Soak a cotton ball with the fluid, press it on your nail for a minute or two, then rub the rest of the polish off. For your skin, you can use that, and you can also use an exfoliating body scrub. (Come to think of it.... Scrub your hands with that before using the remover on your nails.) :) Good luck!
Reply:Being a nail tec there is a couple reasons why it won't come off. 1. Does your nail polish remover have acetone in it, that is more "powerful" remover, takes it off faster and easier really. 2. Try soaking your nails in the remover to losen it from the nail then wipe it with a clean cotton ball. 3. What kind of nail polish are you using, better brands come off easier. Think about it would you paint your nails with nail polish that costs less than a bottle of pop? No! I'm not saying getting the $8 bottle of O.P.I but a middle grade brand would be fine. Because the cheaper the nailpolish, the cheaper the materials, and the harder the chemils which makes it harder to come off the nails. If that is the case it sort of "dyed" your a nails and it should be gone in a few days.

Good Luck!
Reply:Boiling water.
Reply:Put quite a bit of nail polish remover on a cotton ball, then press it on your nail for a good five minutes.

This should get most of it off, and if you need to remove it from the edges, a q-tip with some remover should work.
