Is Nail Polish with SPARKLES out of style?

I felt like painting my nails today and I found a nail polish I've had a long time that I haven't worn in years...It's a natural color, but it has sparkles in it.

I put it on but don't know how I feel about it.

Is it out of style to wear nail polish with sparkles, tacky, or do you like it?

Also, I'm in my 30's....is it age appropriate or does that matter?

Is Nail Polish with SPARKLES out of style?
Wow I used to love the sparkle nail polish!

You wear it girl!

Nothing to be ashamed of, and I'm sure it looks hot on you.

It was the thing when I was younger, and I dont really know if its still in style anymore.. I think black is.. maybe they can start making black nail polish with glitter... that would be great =)
Reply:out of style? i have no idea.

throw it away! i have a red nail polish fetish, i have no idea why but it's freaking SEXY! get them toes too!
Reply:It's safe to say that a woman's nails are low on the viewing list.

You could be wearing Hello Kitty Press-on nails and it wouldn't give me pause.

As another 30-something, anything that makes you feel young is all good.
Reply:I wouldn't wear it if it's just sparkles. Now if it's something like a maroon colour and has sparkles that are small and give it a kind of... shimmer, I would definately wear it. It's not tacky that way.
Reply:I think it's still fashionable. And even if it isn't, there's a possibility of you bringing it back into style. I'm 16 and I would wear it if I were you, try to make a statement.
Reply:I say do what feels good, if it makes you happy to have sparkles on your toe nails then go for it. It's not a faux pas like say bleaching out your hair and leaving dark roots-that's tacky!
Reply:im a nail tech... and usually, the people i see who wears sparkles are little kids. exoecially the ones with big glitter in them. for a rly long tme i havnt seen anyone wearing glitter...
Reply:If you are planning to play with your My Little Pony... sparkles are good to go!

Who cares what people think. Your personality is your style. Everything else is well, cosmetic.
Reply:Was it ever in style?

If so, it's probably passable for girls under the age of 13.
Reply:I wouldn't, but whatever. How long have you had that nail polish? It might be really thick now and not paint well anyway.
Reply:Dude, I don't care what anyone says.

I will wear sparkley nail polish till the day I die!!

Oh, and I'm 21
Reply:well if it is clear with sparkles it would look hott...but if it is like bright with colors that is juevinile....sooo idk
Reply:it think it looks cute if your in your teens idk about it if your 30
Reply:No I LOVE SPARKLERS
Reply:No way!!! i LOVE sparkles!!!
Reply:As a straight, middle aged man, probably viewed as a metrosexual, I prefer all women to have their nails properly manicured and polished - as do I. The color is of a personal choice, but best are ones that compliment your skin tones and attire at the moment. You don't want bright flashy green nails to go with bright blue dress, or well ... you get the idea. As far as sparkles go, I think sparkles are great, but depending on the color, some sparkle/glitter polishes are best for going out, new year's eve, holidays, birthdays, etc. as they are too bright for office wear, but they're fabulous in my opinion - such as OPI Shimmer, OPI Happy Anniversary, OPI Stars In My Eyes, etc. The dark colors that are shimmery or have fine sparkles, like OPI Ink, OPI My Private Jet, OPI Midnight In Moscow and there are some dark green polishes with shimmer, I think can be worn to the office or going out and usually look very rich and elegant. There are some that are lighter with shimmer that I think you could pull off during the day at the office such as OPI Hollywood Blonde and OPI I'm A Princess You're Not and OPI Sheer Enchantment.

Large flecks of sparkles/glitter with or without gaudy colors I think are best reserved for teenagers or youngsters and I haven't seen it used on any women that I'd find attractive.

Oh, and bye the way, I'm 5'10", 175 lb, play ice hockey, very fit, well dressed, push around a snow blower (finally put away) am 100% straight and married - and I like my nails polished :)
