How to polish a ceramic tile?

i used a acid stain remover and it has removed the polish of my ceramic tile along with the stain. Is there anything i can polish the tile to bring back its originality?

How to polish a ceramic tile?
Yes, it can be repolished to a luster even higher than the original shine.

What you have done is etched the tile.

You need to buy some automotive rubbing compound at Walmart and polish out the tile to a luster with that. The rubbing compound will cost about $2.50 a can. Use it moist, but not soaking wet.

You can use a buffing wheel ( not a sheeps wool thing) on a circular high speed drill or polisher. Those are about 1/2 inch thick cotton multiple layers and come in diameters from about 3 inches to 12 inches.
