Just wondering why there is such a large percentage of Polish people living in Chicago. I live around Chicago and I'm 50% Polish myself. How come New York doesn't have as many Polish people if they came to America through Ellis Island?
How did all the Polish people end up in Chicago?
Why do a lot of Irish people live in Boston, or a lot of Jews in New York.
Because they went where their group was treated fairly and where they could make a profit.
